Officially the Sumitomo Seimei Sendai Chuo Building, and universally known by its SS30 nickname, the tower stands in the heart of the downtown district a short walk from the station, and its upper floor combines sweeping views with restaurants, making it a popular spot for both casual sightseers and diners seeking a view with their meal.

Riding the elevator to the 30th floor brings you to an observation lobby ringed with windows, where the city of Sendai spreads out below in every direction.
