Honcho Street, also known as Fuji Michi, is a retro shopping street in the old town of Fujiyoshida that has become one of the most famous photo spots in the entire Mount Fuji region. Its appeal is beautifully simple: looking down the street, Mount Fuji rises directly at its far end, framed by rows of tasteful old shop signs, lanterns and the tangle of overhead electric wires that criss-cross the road.
