Enoshima Aquarium (Enosui)

The Enoshima Aquarium, affectionately known to locals as Enosui, is one of the most popular family attractions on the Shonan coast, facing the beach near Enoshima island within easy reach of Kamakura. Combining serious marine science with crowd-pleasing shows and beautifully designed displays, it is a favorite rainy-day destination and a delightful counterpoint to the temples and hiking trails of the old city, with the sea, Enoshima and, on clear days, Mount Fuji as its backdrop.
